Refund Policy
We believe in being completely transparent about how fees work before you commit to anything. This policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled across all of our services.
1. Our Position
AdTrench provides specialised digital marketing and development services. From the moment an engagement begins, significant time and expertise goes into strategy, account setup, research, and execution. This work starts immediately and cannot be paused or reclaimed once underway.
Because of this, fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. We want every client to understand exactly what they’re paying for before committing — which is why we offer a free strategy call and always outline scope clearly in writing before taking payment.
2. Retainer Services
Retainer services include ongoing Google Ads, Meta Ads, Shop Campaigns, and SEO engagements billed monthly.
- Monthly fees are invoiced at the start of each billing period and due within 7 days
- Once a billing period has commenced, the full month’s fee is non-refundable
- No pro-rata refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period
- Services continue until the end of the period following a cancellation request
3. Project-Based Work
Project-based work includes Shopify store builds, redesigns, and fixed-scope deliverables.
Deposits
- A deposit is required before project work commences
- The deposit is non-refundable once work has started
- If the Client cancels after work has commenced, the deposit is forfeited
- Milestone payments already made at the point of cancellation are also non-refundable
4. No Performance-Based Refunds
The following are not grounds for a refund:
- Dissatisfaction with advertising ROAS, CPA, or revenue results
- Lower-than-expected organic traffic or search rankings
- Decline in performance due to platform algorithm changes
- Ad account restrictions or suspensions imposed by Google or Meta
- Seasonal or macroeconomic factors affecting sales
- The Client’s decision to change business direction
5. Ad Spend
Ad spend is entirely separate from AdTrench’s management fees. AdTrench does not collect, hold, or manage client ad budgets. Queries or disputes about ad spend must be directed to Google, Meta, or Shopify directly.
6. Cancellation
Clients may cancel ongoing retainer services by providing 30 days’ written notice via email.
- The notice period begins on the date AdTrench confirms receipt
- Services continue during the notice period
- Fees for the notice period are due in full
- Any outstanding invoices at cancellation are due immediately
7. Exceptions
The only circumstances in which a refund may be issued:
- AdTrench fails to commence work: If AdTrench accepts payment but fails to begin work within the agreed timeline due to circumstances on our side, a full refund will be issued.
- Duplicate payment: If a Client is charged twice for the same invoice, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
- Legal requirement: Where required by applicable consumer protection law.
8. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback. We ask that you allow up to 10 business days for us to investigate and respond.
Chargebacks for legitimately rendered services will be contested by AdTrench with full documentation of work completed. We maintain detailed records of all work, communications, and deliverables for this purpose.
